Anthony, the Director, and Co-Founder of Blue Step Support Services, boasts an extensive 25-year career in Management across diverse sectors including Private, Government, and Non-Profit. His expertise encompasses Disability, Employment, and Finance, as well as specialised areas like Management Consultancy, Performance Improvement, and Service Delivery.

 

Blue Step Support Services was conceived from his profound aspiration to cultivate an authentic sense of community, where unwavering support is extended to all. Within the organisation, the well-being and satisfaction of the staff are held in equal regard to that of the individuals they support.

 

At Blue Step Support Services, Anthony firmly believes in running a business that places utmost importance on staff well-being and satisfaction, ensuring a workplace characterised by safety and fairness. This commitment to creating a nurturing work environment reflects Anthony's dedication to a holistic and inclusive approach to business operations.

 

Anthony's wealth of knowledge and his eagerness to share it showcase his deep passion for a wide range of subjects. Even during his busiest moments, often as early as 4:30 AM while juggling his daily responsibilities, he immerses himself in research that covers topics like psychology, bioscience, sociology and history. These pursuits underscore his unrelenting thirst for personal growth and knowledge. 

 

In addition to his professional pursuits, Anthony shares his life with a cherished companion, Coco, an adored four-legged friend known for her stylish wardrobe, a testament to Anthony's affectionate care.

 

Anthony's benevolent and altruistic nature extends to all he encounters, as he tirelessly strives to effect positive change in the world. His unwavering commitment to creating opportunities for others embodies his dedication to making a profound impact in the lives of those he touches.

Jesse Telford

Jesse, one of the directors of Blue Step Support Services, boasts an extensive background in the disability sector spanning over a decade. His journey began as a DES consultant, where he focused on finding and securing job opportunities for clients with disabilities. Over the years, Jesse's career evolved as he transitioned into a Local Area Coordination role in Sydney. This role was a significant source of inspiration, fuelling his desire to connect, build relationships, and advocate for participants and their families.

 

Upon relocating to Queensland, Jesse's passion, and commitment to people with disabilities deepened significantly. This transformation was driven by his personal experience of raising a child with Cerebral Palsy. Motivated by a profound understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and families in the disability community, Jesse embarked on a new path as an independent support worker.

 

During his time as an independent support worker, Jesse recognised a significant gap in service providers in the area. Fuelled by his unwavering dedication to improving the lives of those with disabilities, he took the bold step of founding Blue Step Support Services. His vision for the organisation centres around creating a compassionate and caring provider, staffed by individuals who intimately understanding of the disability community and the sector.

 

Beyond his professional commitments, Jesse indulges in a love for gaming, encompassing Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and PC gaming. He also holds a deep passion for all things related to information technology and enjoys immersing himself in the world of Anime. Jesse's diverse interests reflect his multifaceted approach to life, which undoubtedly enriches his perspective and contributions to the disability support community.
